Hope she is not getting banged out her backside by the salesperson at Kay Jewelers right about now, while he uses the bracelet you shouldve brought her as a ring - Im just saying. |
chocolates, maybe some flowers,a nice dinner ok....but to feel entitled to a diamond because of the day on the calendar? bitch needs to get a job then. |

Although I understand the good intentions behind Valentine's Day Cynicism, there's absolutely no reason why you should take it to be an evil day created by corporations that want to give consumerism a boost.
Even if you don't have the money (or simply don't want to) buy the necklace, the least you could've done was come up with a cute surprise made by yourself to show you care for her. Not because it's Valentine's Day, but because it's yet another opportunity to tell her how much you like her.
You know what's the coolest thing my fiancée ever gave me for VD? A tin can that looks like a train. I told her one day that I used to dream an awful lot about lifts and trains, and she gave me the tin can (which must've cost at most 5 dollars because of the bubble gum that came with it) so "she could join me in my dreams", in some sort of way. Too frigging cute and also cheap i.e. it was super-effective :)
Ps.: And Sushi's got a point. I believe the main point is still there, but is that how it really happened? |
you lost me with the whole tin can thing. |

beat her , break her down emotionally (meth is good for this), make her feel worthless, share her with your friends, beat her again and again until she is trained.
if she tries leaving hold a knife to her throat, whisper to her that its her fault and shes making you do this, tell her you'll kill her if she tries to leave, lick the tears out of the corner of her eyes.. hold her there for a few hours..keep the knife to her throat.. keep telling her how worthless she is and that you will kill her if she leaves ..when you have sucessfully broken her down.. her violently.. punch her a few times dont be afraid to break a few bones the more pain the better.. pain is good.. pain is memory |

| Why recover the relationship? Do you actually like her, is it worth working out? There are a lot of girls in this world, perhaps your time would be better spent finding someone you mesh better with than repairing a relationship that constantly needs maintenance due to misunderstandings that are probably brought on by dramatic personality differences. |

You're stupid, just stupid.
Apologise and WHEN she has forgiven you, only then, when you know she is fine, give her some Kay stuff.
Simples. |

The only up side in this is that you can fix it making a speech about how VD is unnecessary but at the same time professing your unconditional love. My suggestion is that you wait til Friday to prepare something worth remembering since you managed to up pretty good.
I suggest a combination of small gifts which will show your creativity and dedication. Go to the DJ Promotion subforum, download an okay mix, burn it and put your name on it. After that, go steal some flowers from your neighbor. Next, copy and paste a love letter to later print it--do proofread and edit for credibility reasons. Cut yourself so you can sign the letter with your blood once it's printed. Yes, you will have to waste some ink. But if you don't have ink, you can refill any cartridge with your blood and print the whole letter with your blood. Lastly, go buy her something from that store, you moron. |

Honestly, I think for most women it's the jealousy part of VD that really makes us want to participate. It just sucks when you're at work/school/wherever and all these girls get lavished with flowers and presents and get to gloat all day about how wonderful their BF is. It really has the power to make you feel pretty ty and forgotten.
Yea, I agree it's all fabricated corporate bull, but women want to feel like they are special and when all the women around them get to enjoy that, they can really feel left out. Something as simple as a single rose, or even just a hand written, heart felt letter would likely be good enough for most women.
Besides, how often do men ACTUALLY show their love in such overt ways? Not often, and don't ing lie about it. So many guys use that as an excuse, but the reality is, they will ignore VD and STILL wont do anything special for their woman. You would think that men would clue in that small gestures like that can make a woman's day, and is more likely to get you laid, but nope.
And for the record, I don't think it's all the men's responsibility. Women should make an effort to make their man feel special too. |

Oh... and to the OP.
You're a complete dumbass.
If you knew it meant so much to her, but you were so opposed to VD, then why didn't you do something special for her on the weekend or something? Best of both worlds. You don't go against your convictions, and she gets to feel loved and appreciated. And you get laid.
Now all you're gonna get is a lot of your own hand while you watch porn.
Idiot. |
