An article about one vote on the panel. Heh.

Must be a slow news day.

Not surprising.

We'll take our multi-million dollar revenue generator to another county. Im sure they'll be happy to accommodate :)

I still can't believe people still use the R word till this day. These aren't raves, you want raves, go back in time 10 years. I just hate all these old ass politicians who back in their days would go to concerts that had people overdose on acid, heroin and cocain all the time, yet swear they're on their moral high horses and know what's best for people.

I'm sure OC, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties would gladly take all the cash that their hotels, rental cars, and taxes that they'd make

boil it down, it is still a rave.....that term might not be used BY US, but it is still that.....

Israel said, "I believe we can put on electronic dance festivals safely" but "I don't think this is an appropriate time to do one."

See you next year, money talks and BS just walks.

EDC can easily fit at the NOS center if they have it set up like it was for Nocturnal. Open up the race track as well and you have more than enough room for 75,000 people.

I have gone to EDC 2008, 2009, and 2010. I would classify EDC during those years an all-ages rave that is legal and therefore safer than the illegal raves that took place a 10+ years ago.

If i were throwing EDC, I wouldn't want to move it to another location. EDC has been associated with the coliseum so why change it and risk losing money and reputation.

EDC wasn't always at the Colliseum. If I recall correctly it was even held at NOS.
