yeah, Paavo had to play their next gig solo-- I hope Jono gets better? food poisoning? jet lag fail? ???
Last night was riulous. What's the ID for that track where Paavo typed something like "Never give up on your dreams," "10 years ago, we had a dream, this is it"? That's been nagging the HELL out of me.

hey dude...saw you for a sec while I was running to get a drink, but figured I would have seen you later on. Next time!
Anyway, I had a fantastic time. I thought Above & Beyond played an epic set. Just an awesome vibe all around. The crowd was amped to a ridiculous degree...maybe even more so than Ferry a few weeks ago, which is saying something.
Jaytech played a great set as well...played a lot of stuff off Anjunadeep obviously, my favorite track of the night being Spooky - Belong (Sasha's Involver Remix) - Prankster edit. Sounded absolutely amazing on such a huge sound system.
I also had a great time opening things up earlier in the night, although I have to admit, I was thrown off guard by how crowded it got so early. I'm used to clubs filling up at like 12:30...not 10:15! :toothless
All in all, fantastic night. Hope to see these guys (including Jaytech) back for EZ this year. |

Wow whay a great night all around!! Didnt think that A&B were going to top Ferry but it did in every way!!!
Zach .. Great opennin set but did they not allow you to turn the volume up in the beginning? |

I think its a testament to A&B's popularity that they were able to sell out BB theatre with 2 other big DJs in town on the very same day!
btw, all those Mat Zo edits/remixes, etc has got me amped for his NY debut on the 30th! Its going to be insane! |

Had a great time on Saturday night! Can't believe how quickly that place filled in and it was ram packed by the time A&B came on! I thought the crowd was actually a lot better than the Ferry night, although there definitely seemed to be a lot of younger people there but more of the preppy college type than I would have maybe expected. I think it's possible the ladies opted for either Avicii or Axwell.
Anywayyy, great music all night long. Zack started things off proper and picked it up nicely for Jaytech. The highlight of the night for me, selfishly, was when Jaytech played G-Tek's remix of Zack's track tekkadon! Was really excited to hear that and "Jimbo" is a really cool guy! Great seeing some of the usual characters out and about! |

epic. best club night so far for me this yr, I got both my prog fix and trance fix in the same nite :)
glad to catch Jaytech again, it's been 2 long. I'd never miss that dude when he plays here esp since I'm a big fan of the Anjunadeep sound which doesn't get played a lot here in NYC. Jaytech made my night when he dropped my fav tune of 2011 which is Soundprank-The Far Side. I actually wrote on his Facebook wall asking him to play that song when he comes down, don't know if he read it. I was the happiest dude to hear that track in a club finally, a definitive highlight for me. the Soundprank bass is sick in a big room. Jaytech even closed out with yet another Soundprank track, the remix of Spooky. solid set.
Paavo was good, the set had me moving through out. I've been to Best Buy Theater before but this particular night I paid more attention to & appreciated the lights and the screens even more for some reason, they complemented the music really well. the lights were fkg awesome, mini-second bright flashes sweeping the whole room sometimes when a pumping tune was being played, very nice. stuff like that really enhances a show instead of just a dj on stage like at pacha & wh.

i'm surprised the comments about the crowd. I thought it was weak, definitely weaker than ferry. Too many old people and too many guys.
also i'll add an ID i thought I heard promises(myon and shane 54 remix) but I was at the bar so I can't be totally sure |
