knick will score but they'll also give up anything and everything on the other end. |
Orlando probably missed their window. They'll probably be right there though. Hard to say they will definitely be better or worse.
Atlanta is nothing more than a 2nd round playoff team as well. Jojo is not a franchise player. Horford is not a center. Josh Smith is just overrated, I played with him in high school. The kid is so dumb. |

Sorry burak but you're clueless on this one. The Knicks didn't play defense before and they still won't.
Amare/Anthony are going to score like crazy and Billups/Fields will be largely unguarded. Knicks are #3 no discussion. |

Gotta love the dense homer fans that don't have a clue.
You're not going to magically play defense, but you will occasionally have bad scoring games. A 35 year old half-court point guard in D'Antoni's system, you can have him wide-open all you want. He'll see the ball all of 2 minutes in a game. |

| I just remembered this is a music forum. So I'll probably just avoid discussing basketball with ya'll now that I think about it. |

| At first I was against the trade, but now I am kinda happy with it..... the Knicks werent going to win a championship with the team they had... even though they gave up a lot of talent, they needed to do something to try and get further in the playoffs |

| Had you guys kept Felton, I would have loved the trade. He's the perfect pg for D'Antoni's system. |

| what a relief - I like the trade. Now all we need is Chris Paul a big man and some role players and we will be winning some championships |

That would have been sick, but never would have happened :(
My opinion: Of course Im gonna love mah boy Melo (my ol skool 'Cuse homie who brought us home a championship) being on the team that I cheer for, but I think people are jumping the gun if they automatically equate Melo with a championship.
One, we have to see how he fits in and plays with a new team, and two, we lost a lot of players in the deal to back up the two big shots. Def NOT a guaranteed championship. Only time will tell.....
With that being said, glad to have Melo here because of my "ties" to him at Cuse, he is a great player and will hopefully bring something exciting to New York :D |

you banged melo???
but in all seriousness, i still think the bulls are better. i don't see ATL as a strong team in the playoffs, and agree with transcension saying that orlando missed their window. |

Saying the Knicks are a better team than the Bulls is like saying the Los Angeles Clippers are a better team than the Los Angeles Lakers. They're in a completely different class. Having two superstars doesn't mean anything. If anything, we've seen that having three superstars doesn't mean everything all the time.
Neither Amare, nor 'Melo's style of play compliments each other. It doesn't matter that Billups will be getting open looks, because neither Amare nor Carmelo ever pass the ball. |

All three of those teams are much better than the Knicks. I don't see the Knicks making it out of the first round of the playoffs.
Edit: Who cares about the NBA anyways? It's almost BASEBALL SEASON :D :D :D :D :D Go Sox. you Yankees I guess you can't buy every free-agent. |
