Wicker Man. It's a remake of an older quasi/horror movie. Basically it's some cult'ish community of all women who every year build a giant wicker statue of a man, and sacrifice someone to something by setting the whole thing on fire with them inside.
I'd actually recommend seeing it. It's pretty hilariously terrible, as you can probably tell from those scenes.
Is it just me or does every character that Nicholas Cage plays come off as being a joke just because he's so bad at acting?

Nicolas Cage has always been ing horrible. He can't act for , and the fact he managed to be succesful at all is just mind blowing. He got some good roles which no doubt made him, but how he got them just makes no sense to me...

He was great in Wild at Heart and Leaving Las Vegas. I haven't liked him in anything since though.

the last one i liked him in was Captain Corelli's Mandolin in 2001 but i read he's been going through some serious financial trouble after going on a mansion shopping spree so maybe he has no choice but to star in any role he can get.
