| Sounds good, man. I can't hear anything to nit-pick on. Nice work. |

Your always so damned reliable for feedback, it's much appreciated.
PS - I have not added sweeps etc yet, wanted to get mix right first.
There's no clap or snare, and dunno whether it needs one really? |

, Rich. Didn't even notice much missing. Just got sucked in by the mix so I wasn't really paying enough attention to make sure it was a fully developed track. :p
In a somewhat related note, your opinion on the SHM - One song seems to be reflected in the production sensibilities, here. That said, I prefer this song. |

I'm going through a whore stage just now, and like pleasing my younger clubbing brother with sugar-tit tracks.
Now to add some rising lazer sounds, and get Jesus posin:D |

It's fun but I think you could get a whole lot more out of this. I think this track would mostly benefit from better engineering and sound-design. No harm intended, here's my uncensored opinion :) :
The synth part has quite a commercial sound and is fun, no doubt the best part. I like that.
The beat however sounds flat. I think it could benefit from a pumping kick (shorter, punchier, a shorter decay). A more minimal approach for the overall drum arrangement would probably suit beter. This together with some tighter eq-ing (or maybe re-arranging) of the bassline would create a bit more space for the mix to breathe. That combined with some compression would in turn would create the necessary space to make this track a few times more bouncy and in your face than it is now.
I hope this helps :). |

Thanks story teller - I'll look into that.
Incidentaly I spent a long time on the bass, and it does have a lot of SC on it as does everything else, but I'll see what I can do.
I generaly go for tighter more minimal percs but this time I kinda whanted more of what my Brother is showing me from these really cool DJ mixes of big current tracks, so I went for a more vengeancy perc flava.
There's really ony a kick in there so maybe with hats and better tech tom riffs it might improve.
Thanks though a lot, I'll import some big current tunes and see where I need to get the energy up. |

| Yea, most crazy tunes these days have very minimal percussion and sometimes not even a bassline anymore. If you find ways to create more space in the mix everything will have a lot more impact overall :) |

I like this!,, kind of question and answer composition between the break synth and the kick. I would add some cymbals when your are coming out of the break synth. Not the typical cliche rolling one, but an more organic one.
really like it!
cheers man. |

| the breakdown sounds like it's gonna crumble apart! other than that I really like it. the rythm and bass parts are cool, but i think you may need to spice it up somehow. will have a listen again later. |

| Cool track, Richard! At first, I wasn't all that keen on the huge kick and was thinking that a "smaller" one might work better, but as the song went on (and I cranked it up!), I found myself liking it a lot more. I really like the groove that gets established during the main theme, and I really like the chords during the breakdown, but the two parts feel sorta disjointed to me. I guess I was expecting it to all come together at some point. That's neither here nor there, but I found myself hoping to hear that breakdown motif over the driving bass/kick at some point. Might be worth exploring. Regardless, still a very cool track and one of the few instrumentals that I've listened to all the way through in quite some time (and going back for another listen now). |

Sounds like some elements are in the back, the synths are a little thin
the breakdown can be super gorgeous tho |
