IPA recommendation

Does anyone have any favorite IPAs that they'd recommend? To give you some background into my tastes, here's a list of some of my favorites (in no particular order)

1. Dogfish Head 90 minute
2. Victory Hop Devil
3. Sierra Nevada IPA
4. Stone IPA

Any suggestions? As another frame of reference, I love the Dogfish head 90, but the 120 is a tad too hoppy for me.

Lots of good stuff here:

Not just IPAs though.

Yeah I remember that thread. I remember trying a few that people raved about on there and hated them. Seemed to be a big Belgian contingent there, and I've never had a Belgian beer that I've liked.

I meant this to be strictly IPA recommendations only, mostly because it seems like there's a huge variety of them (in the US specifically) and they're easier to come by than a lot of the more obscure imported beers in the other thread.

Can't really help you there, I'm afraid. IPAs aren't really common over here in Oz.

I'm still all about the German wheat beers.

Have you tried Stone's Ruination IPA? It's a step up from the regular one..

Green Flash IPA is one of the big sellers at my local (after Dogfish Head 90)

Bear Republic Racer 5 - Sam Calagione's favourite non-Dogfish Head IPA

Brewdog Punk IPA - although it's not very strong it's so unbelievably hoppy!

Lagunitas Little Sumpin' IPA

Others to consider
Bells Two Hearted Ale - a lighter IPA
Flying Dog Raging Bitch - Belgian style IPA

I've been buying this one a lot lately. Definitely check it out if you haven't.

Another one I'd recommend is Heavy Seas - Loose Cannon Hopł IPA.

Of the ones you listed...I'd have to go with the stone..or the hopdevil..that's if you're looking for an ipa.
The 90 minute is an ipa, yeah, but it's the total antithesis of what is typically thought of as an ipa today - the bitter, floral, maybe grapefruity west-coast offering. stone's is a is a good example of the west coast style. the hopdevil is good as well, but perhaps a step below the stone (in my eyes)
i think sierra nevadas offering is subpar, though not bad. their celebration ale is a better ipa, but doesn't work for me.

thing about the 90 is it's another category altogether. it's got a heavier malt base and is much more similar to a double ipa than an ipa.

fbgdavidson gave good advice that i'll +1 as well. whenever i visit stone brewery i fill up my flask with the ruination, unless there's something real special..it takes bitter to another level, and is tough to swallow for the uninitiated.

racer 5 is a great session beer.

go with the DFH 60 minute!!!! my favorite summer time brew, quite possibly. eassyyy drinkin and such a great taste.

i realllly dig smuttynose ipa as well, great sessionable beer.

when i sit down at my local bar and decide to drink 8 of the same beer just because it feels good...it's always either snpa, stone ipa, or the smutty :D

I prefer the 60 minute over the 90 minute. Isn't there a 120 minute variety? I've never had that before.
bas
Shipwreck IPA.

There is a 120 minute, but it costs like $15 for a 4-pack.

I've had all three, and definitely like the 90 the best out of them.

the 120 is good too. gets you ed up!!!! hahaha
and i'd agree that the 90 is the best of the 3
