Would you be willing to analyze something that's not EDM or classical? I'm kind of interested to see some trends in Muse's tracks, they've got a pretty unique trend in their harmonies. Lots of chromatic movement and whatnot. Space Dementia, Glorious, Dead Star, Citizen Erased or Muscle Museum would all be interesting, they've all got some really odd chords and chromatic movement in them.
Just an idea.

I think alot of it will be normal pop.

I don't think you've listened to much Muse.
It's not amazingly complicated or anything but there's more to analyze than your "normal pop" track. A lot of it seems based on the melodic minor scale, something I like the sound of but never got the hang of writing songs in.. so it'd be helping me out a bit, I guess.
Either way it's not pop:

I'd be quite interested to hear what you had to say about a couple of mine. I work purely from instinct so have no real recollection of whatever theory I have picked up over the years.

deffinitely going to read this

I want to have the track play and have the music notes and chords sort of scroll while it plays. Would flash do this and if so , is it hard ? I haven't really ever used it. I imagine just having those elements would be rather simple. IF anyone could guide me to a template so that it would make listening to the music and seeing what is going on easier.

I've used Flash quite a bit, it depends. How do you plan on visually notating the notes/chords?

Will have a visual of the wave is it goes by playing the track with the notation on the bottom in terms of what chords amd the fingering. This way people can pause and stop it.

If you get the waveform and have the notes/chords in the correct places underneath it it's like a 3 step process to do what you wanted to do in Flash as far as having it scroll to the left, just a matter of making a starting position all the way to the right in one frame, an ending position to the left on another frame, and then making a motion tween between the two that's as many frames as the song's length. If the song's 5 minutes long you'd just make it 12 fps with a tween of 3,600 frames. Then you just put the song into the file and have it play at the beginning.
Pause/play buttons take some actionscripting but it's not horribly difficult.
