Is that you palm? For god's sake man, just go back to palm.

No idea about loops and pTLE won't work with your echo, but PTHD will.

I thought PTLE would work with 3rd party sound cards now?

Well, sorta. There is no longer an LE version. The native (i.e., non-HD) version of PT9 will work with any/most soundcards now.

No loops included with PT9 - it's not really their "thing". It does come with some decent plugins (e.g., the Air-series), though. PT9 is $599 at most places, but I got mine through a trade for an older MBox/PTLE and upgrade, so it ended up costing me less than 1/2 of that.

That's a quality tutorial, there. Love the edits on the second one.

me, you can nearly smell the vodka on him through the camera.

I love how he says that PT sounds "less warmer" than PT.

Genius.

Back OT, it seems like you can still buy the PTLE hardware bundles from retailers (I assume while stocks last and while Avid continue to manufacture them) but the only thing they offer software wise is PT9 for $599 (or from $259 for an up/crossgrade from LE or M powered).

And you can smell the wine off of these sans serif fonts... from me... right now... :nervous:
