Scary stuff.
It had an aftershock over 7!
8.9 --> 6.4 --> 6.4 --> 6.8 --> 3.2 --> 7.1 --> 6.3. |

That 6.8 aftershock was actually centered in Tokyo, not near the original epicenter. Fires in Tokyo.

All the news channels are showing high-quality videos of the tsunami flooding land near the shoreline, probably from a helicopter.
The images are incredible. I have never seen tsunami videos this clear before. When the camera pans out you can see just how devastating tsunamis can be. Buses and homes are being tossed around like they are nothing.

| well, i am good. but wife can't be reached. all cell are down. tsunami and fire going on. all trains and monorail are down. pretty wild. |

Also, to make light of the earthquake, if they can broadcast a Tsunami in 2011 in this stunning detail, imagine how well they would have braodcast the World Cup had they got it. Damn you Qatar
