If you're in LA and don't have cable or satellite, you can tune in to NHK WORLD LIVE on Channel 18.2 (KSCI). That's the channel all TV stations are feeding off from. You can also tune in live on the net http://www.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/

| I'm sure sometime in the near future we should get some spectacular images when the San Andreas decides to go off... if the Big One hits during the day. |

I e-mailed my friends in Kochi, but they haven't responded. I assume the cell networks, and thus e-mail, are pretty strained right now.
I'm hoping they're ok since Shikoku is so far south. |

Oh wow, videos from helicopters show tsunamis way off-shore, quickly traveling to shore, and hitting the coast wiping out everything in its path.
These tsunamis might be the best documented tsunamis ever. |

The stations had live feeds from Japan. If all the helicopters went up at the same time, they are prob all out of gas at the same time and in getting filled up.
This is gonna keep me up all night. And I have an interview tomorrow! |
