I'd say we should have left them alone and let them deal with their internal conflicts, but I guess it's a little too late now that we fired missiles to Libya.
Well, as bad as it sounds and it may sound meaner but whatever it takes to bring the gas back to $2/gal... you can't deny it that this war is all about oil
*sigh* |

Are you ing retarded? Libya doesn't even have a large supply of oil you idiot. It's not even a war either. Jesus christ  Read a ing book.
And by leaving them alone to "deal with their own internal conflicts" you're suggesting that we let their dictator commit genocide, which he openly admitted he was going to do? How old are you exactly? If you're over 16 I'd be completely astonished. |

Well technically the US, British and French are via the UN.
I am not really sure how that works though, someone give me an accurate lesson? the UN votes and we go, or how does that work? |

Libya might not have a large suppy of oil but it's rank #18 in the world supplying almost 2 million barrels a day and it's rank#9 for oil reserves according to the CIA's website (https://www.cia.gov/library/publica...r/2173rank.html).
With that being said, the world is short almost 2 million barrels a day because of what's happening in Libya now, although Libya sells mainly to the European countries, the world's market is also being affected and as a result WE are the one who ends up paying $4/gal.
When I said leave them alone I'm speaking in the behalf of us the United States, I just don't think that we need to have another Americans blood being spilled in Middle East. And how old are you exactly? I'm 28 and from the way you talk you do sound like you've just reached your puberty |

| You realize we are not sending any ground troops in? They've made that very clear. |

No but this is a war about oil. It's full-on invasion by the US only and it's all Obama's fault!!!
 |

It's not a US only event. The UK, France, Canada, Italy, and other countries who chose to remain anonnymous for the time being are also involved. |
