| His sound doesn't get much love on this board, but he just played one of the best nights of music I have ever heard in my life tonight in Vermont. Absolutely stunning. I was told he's playing Stereo April 16th, so I highly recommend anyone looking for something different than what you will normally hear in an afterhours to check him out. I've seen him a couple times there before, and honestly what he played in a bar with a dancefloor tonight topped them all. I just hope he can do it again in a couple weeks. |

Agreed. Although his mixing can be shoddy, it's because he's more about taking risks than being a Digweed-esque perfectionist.
Mark Farina is in my Top 3 favourite DJs, and has been ever since the first time I saw him 7 years ago. I always have an amazing time when he's on the decks. |

His mixing was excellent Sunday.
He overcame some significant problems during the night, with a CDJ stopping him on a couple occasions, then the fire alarm going off and ENTIRELY evacuating the club at 1 am. Fire department let everyone back in 10 mins later, and he quickly brought it all back like it never happened. The next hour was actually the highlight of the night.
I just realized he's playing Friday the 15th, not the 16th as I originally posted. |

yeah! ... i have been waiting for this since his last appearance in October 2010 ... Farina is always fresh, funky, and just makes you want to move!!!
Cant wait to see him on a night when he's not competing with Black and Blue ... i hope Mtl doesnt sleep on this!!!
