Now I remember, she showed up at both parties. BINGO!

I went to many of them. Most memorable one was Sven Vath because there weren't too many ppl out that night. Felt very one on one like a lapdance. Loved those nights.

Awesome times. Thursdays at work suuuucked... sometimes barely got back to Buffalo in time for work!
Big Boss
My best time ever was that legendary Erick Morillo party. The front door was a mess, and Morillo was on fire dropping tracks, layering accapellas and just blowing the crowd away.

I also remember a pretty awesome Pete Heller party too...Big Love Days...

element too

Element was badass. I had NO clue there was even a venue down there (same with Lily). Nasa was pretty fun too. I LOVE venues like that, I keep saying I want to do more of these but I just end up at reg bars and occasionally do FW or Guv. I think I'm going to start switching it up mid summer. Already been to wreck room and the el mo, bring on different types of jams!

Del, for sure man, I only wish I had gone to that. Even back then I didn't go to EVERY party...:p

Two most memorable were Richie Hawtin on my bday, back in 2001 (or 2002) and the Carl Cox Global CD release party where everyone wore cardboard Carl Cox facemasks all night. lol
PivotTechno
DJ Assault, Detroit Grand Pubahs and Claude Young, all on the same bill on a Wednesday night...yeah, we were spoiled.

There is a really good set floating around from FTWK from Richie or Marco Carola. Anyone remember?

Great nights for sure, they actually still have all the flyers up on the wall in the office there too. Two walls are covered by F.T.W.K. flyers. I remember a couple years ago the owner asking if it was still possible to get a night like that going mid week, which unfortunately I don't think it is...times have changed...

John E's weekly Wed party at Limelight was awesome too! (although several years before)

aww Element. I played the last event there before it closed, one of my first DJ gigs ever. Had a number of pretty late after parties upstairs too :eyes:

Orko
I listened on the radio, but was too young to get in! I tried once with a fake ID, but I was 16, and looked 12 :(

If it was at System for Hawtin in February it was 02 and was NUTS. Waited something like 30/40 min in the freezing cold. Couldn't even feel my leg until 20 min inside. Same with seeing "Plastikman" at the Opera house. I went with Graham, Nat and Mirza but it wasn't as intense as the usual Hawtin parties. More downtempo ish but still fun.
