| Nice mix, the tunes were ace. I really enjoyed them. Mixing was strong, and the flow was solid. However, the length... it ended so soon, I honestly wish you would have carried it out a bit longer. That would be the only downfall of this set, because I never got a complete sense of progression. Nice job though. |

This is a very nice mix, mate. Some of the tracks are downright hypnotic. And I still trip out at the bird sounds :o
I have to echo Zip's statement though, it just a bit short for my liking. You could have done with another half an hour at least, but I guess finding the right tracks might hinder that.

Really, really dug this set. I actually started listening the day you put it up and got half way through but never resumed from there. Popped this on my MP3 player yesterday and listened in full today and it was very enjoyable,especially since the weather was really bad all day and the sun was finally starting to come out while I was listening to this. It was definitely fitting.
I must say I wasn't too fond of the mixing into and out of Groove La Chorde, which was a bit disappointing considering I love that track and really wanted to be excited about the moment it starts making its presence in this mix.
But that's a relatively minor complaint in an otherwise great set. I loved all the other tracks, and the mixing was tight, but like most people felt that it was far too short.
Would love for you to have another go at this sort of mix again in the future. As for my follow-up melodic techno mix, Well I think I just got some inspiration to finally go ahead and record it:) |

I thought this was excellent right up to Libellules (which is from 2009, by the way), and then the flow went a bit wobbly. Although the mix into Libellules was excellent, the track itself didn't quite seem to continue logically from what had gone before. I also agree with Adam that the mixing around Groove La Chorde wasn't too hot either. You did pull it back with the next two tracks, peaking with Machines Can Help which is a fantastic track, but then put the brakes on hard with the next track. I felt that switch from energetic peak to chilled ending was too abrupt.
So yeah... first half great, second half a more mixed bag. I've been wanting to do a techno mix myself, but it's been a case of finding something interesting to do with it, because I don't like just playing a genre set if other people on TA are doing a good job of it already. |

anyhow, very nice mix. had this on my harddrive and skimmed it through it a couple of times but the weather was nice to day and felt perfect to play this. went down quite nice, tunes was good and mixing was good. |

Yeah, definitely melodic. Was a nice mix, smooth and thumpy. The end did lose me a bit though.
