It's ing stupid that Ruby Skye & Spundae always book Armin on either Sunday, Monday & now Tuesday and Wednesday. you both for doing this to the fans that don't live within 10 minutes of the club. Some of us do work.. :whip: :whip: :whip:
The event will sell out, which = more money for you greedy mofos..
I would had been OKAY if tickets would had been $100 (Satisfy your greed), but as long as we had a proper weekend date, but no!!! |
no reason to diss broski. bookings for big dj's are tougher in SF compared to LA. Plus it costs a load more money to book any dj on a weekend compared to a weekday.
Besides... your given plenty of time to schedule the a day off or worse case scenario, call in sick.
I'll think you'll be quite pleased with the events that take place during the weekday as the true party heads and armin fans will show up. |

i keep hearing that weekday Armin sets are superior to the weekend sets. |

just curious - where did the price start? I'm probably going to the no kids night,
not sure I can make both.
The people complaining are the very reason why Armin is so popular and doesn't have to play here on a weekend. So we could all be mad at you just as easily. hah! :p |

| FYI the 18+ event has 39 likes so far, the 21+ has 10 |

For the record we have had him on Friday and Saturday nights many times |
I’ve been waiting for Armin to have a proper ‘Club’ weekend set in San Francisco for a long time now. So please understand my frustration with all these weekday bookings for Armin in San Francisco, his last Saturday date in San Francisco was May 10, 2008.
2010 - No Ruby Skye Booking – Played POP on May 29, 2010
November 02, 2009 (Monday)
April 7, 2009 (Tuesday)
I also never said that he has never played on Friday/Saturday, I’m just saying it’s been very long, charge $100 a ticket, pay his fee, and let’s get the party started!!
Oh yeah, and I also never made claims to know or work in the business, sorry if I don't understand how bookings are made. I figured since Armin is already touring and has a few weekend slots open, that he and his agent would be more than willing to have him play, of course if his fee is paid, but that is probably too simple and there is more politics involved.
Anyway, don’t take it too personal. Armin will sell out the place and will make everyone very happy, while I sleep to go to work (not your fault)!

Yeah, as he says "Is not easy being #1"
The people that are fortunate to attend these two parties will be in for a treat, Armin at Ruby Skye is GREAT!!! |

| Armin prob costs a a good arm & a leg right now. If you notice, most weekend events he does in the states are at LARGE venues, which is difficult in SF right now. Maybe at the Warfield, but then that'd end at 2am. |

correct. him playing an event at Ruby is a rarity hence the booking on a weekday. So on a positive note, people should be happy that he is playing in SF regardless of the date.
If Sasha and/or Digweed were playing on a weekday here in LaLa land, you'd know I'd be there in a heartbeat :) |

| is alain going to open, then blake, then armin? or just blake and armin? |

Alain is doing down tempo sets I believe, so I am gonna guess they are gonna open doors pretty early and he'll just start off until 10 maybe and then Blake comes on. And prob Armin at midnight as usual
Just me guessing. Actual timeslots are not set yet. Will be closer to the event. |
