Just listened to... some... of his set because I couldn't do the whole thing. Esepcially for someone coming on right after Armin's high energy set... did anyone think he sucked major balls?

I know we have another Gareth thread going but I'm not even talking about cheese and vocals. I'm talking about mixing skills and not having a good energy set except for his LA Nights track toward the end.

Anyone agree? ATB needs to step it up and stop his gimmicky Till I Come drops.

Sander van Doorn on the other hand... ing killed it!

i was listening to part of his set when flying back on jet blue on sunday. switched to the pop music channel on sirius/xm until SvD came on. did you hear atb yelling COME ON!!!! repeatedly and no one responding?

SvD completely destroyed miami. glad i caught all but the last 10 minutes of his set.

saw ATB at the Marquee in January because it was free and weekend of CES. His set was just.....ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Really horrible towards the end of his 3 hour set.

I won't pay any kind of money to see him for sure.

i saw him at marquee too that night, the beginning actually wasn't bad but then it just got wayyyy too boring.

i saw him at nocturnal, even though his mixing was horrible and the 9pm till i come riffs every 10 min are annoying, it definitely had more energy.

his asot 500 set i turned off, it was a big snooze fest.

sander on the other hand, holy crap, best set of asot500 thus far.

Saw him summer of 2009, he killed it in my opinion. Then I saw him at Ultra in 2010, he was absolutely horrible for the 30mins I saw. And I've heard nothing but bad things since.

I'm honestly surprised he was part of ASOT500.

So ATB sucks now?

lol, this is not news, people. he has been a terrible dj for quite some time now :)

Ya, its just really weird how he keeps getting on these big events...because I haven't seen a positive thing said about him in a while.

Oh well, hearing Ecstasy live will always hit the spot.

and that's why! people like his (old) productions and he is a big name, whether he can DJ or no. he brings in the ticket sales.

I went with a group of girls to see him in Vegas last year and they loved it, Eminem, Katy Perry and all... and he's a super nice dude. you can't fault him that. i met him after his set at Moon early last year and he was happy to just chat for hours.

and, see? look. even tho i know he's a crap DJ, i still went to 4-5 of his gigs last year alone. haha
