my favorite version of the washer dance is when...

woman is bent over, standing about three from a railing/bar/wall. she is reaching out holding the railing by extending her arms, and slightly swaying back and forth in zombie like motion, all the while her ass is attached to the male groin area. male is holding on the womans hips, swaying head back and forth while eyes closed. of course, all this at the very front of the dj booth.

i will conduct a webinar on the topic.

I think due to this topic I'm going to pay more attention to the washers this weekend at the Avalon since Sander is playing. Usually i avoid them like a plague.

ecstasy in vietnamese is called "thuoc lac" .. it's a direct translation to mean "drug that makes you shake"

the shaking head thing is more a socal thing.. pple dont really do the "wash cycle" when ive gone to SF or NY.. they sway back and forth but no cycling like the pictured above

they say the shaking head thing makes you roll stronger .. and with asians..if one person believes a certain thing..they start telling everybody and next thing u know everyone in the village does it

Being from nyc, we call them headshakers (at least I did). It is a rampant problem. Being asian myself, I get hit as collateral damage when there are problems on the line, in the club, etc. I try and steer clear of any headshaker territory whenever I go out for fear of retribution.

the head tossing is little more drastic and violent.

Yes, if you are in the center of a laundromat, your can be certain you will constantly be whipped in the face with hair from several directions at once, and certainly not even to the beat. Or sometimes, the chick is swaying so much that they continually ram into you, no matter how much room you seem to give them. Its like the guy senses an outsider to their clan, locks onto you, and then swings the drugged out, often vomit covered, hair cloud towards you till you leave.

[semi-related drunken threadjack] And what the hell is up with the dumptruckers? You know who I mean, the ones who continually back up into you, again no matter how many steps back you give them. Now granted, I'm not the most active dancer out there to begin with, but when it gets fairly crowded I move less on purpose just to NOT impede on others space. In fact, after much conscious effort, research grants, and several peer reviewed publications on the subject, I now only ever bob my head a bit and the occasional fist pump (or the rarer double fist pump for a massive drop) while cementing my feet to the ground, and these people will still inch ever back onto you until one of us (usually them) loses balance. Once they get back up, they almost always AGAIN start inching back. On average this can occur anywhere from 3 to as much as 8 times in a row. Ok,thats all the few high-lives I drank so far today will allow me to spew so far so [/semi-related drunken threadjack]
