London Meets Berlin (April 2011 Techno and House)

So I've been wanting to do a UK bass/garage - influenced house and techno set for a little while now and this is the result. I needed a little distraction from all the melodic techno/progressive house I've been listening/playing with lately so I wanted a quick change of pace. Came out alright for the most part, so here it is being shared with all of you! As always, love to hear any comments you guys may have!

Efdemin - There Will Be Singing (DJ Koze Remix) [Dial]
Daso - Why Try (Fred P Reshape) [NSYDE]
West Norwood Cassette Library - Blonde On Blonde (Pearson Sound Remix) [Teal]
Julio Bashmore - Battle For Middle You (Maurice Donovan Dub) [PMR]
Klunk + Zilly - Intent Feat. Dwiet Isaacs [Klunk + Zilly]
Midland - Bring Joy (Youandewan Warehouse Dub) [This Is Music - More Music]
SCB - Loss [Aus]
Furesshu - Lucid [Project Squared]
Joy O - Wade In [Hotflush]
Papol - St Bulevar (Dario Zenker Remix) [Esperanza]
Elgato - Blue [Hessle]
Blawan - Kaz [R&S]
Cosmin TRG - Separat [50 Weapons]
Martyn And Mike Slott - All Nights [All City Dublin]
George Fitzgerald - Don't You (SCB Edit) [Hotflush]
Brooks Mosher - Jupiter Attack [Dolly]
Mano Le Tough - Baby Let's Love (Midland Remix) [Dirt Crew]

Edited the mix itself as there were a couple of things I was unhappy about. Also added Soundcloud widget. Last track is different now btw.

Not sure which version I got, but I quite enjoyed this mix. The London/Berlin intersection is pretty big and interesting at the moment.

The flow was great, you took a bit of a risk with Blue and then the sudden energy jump into Kaz, but it definitely, definitely worked for me. I'm a big fan of these kind of 'reset' sections in mixes.

I only noticed one mix which was a bit jarring, but otherwise spot on.

Track selection was great, of course. Truth be told though, I spent most of the mix waiting to see what you'd do with All Nights. I'm slightly obsessed with that track at the moment. There were a few here which I'd not heard before and will be tracking down, though.

Right on. Always enjoy reading your well thought-out reviews. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed this because unlike most mixes I'd put up, I have to say that I really, really didn't know if people would like it or not. I feel like it might be a bit too, barren, sparse at times, and the flow might even seem a little weird to some.

If it's the first version that you listened to, I'd say have another go at the new one. At least check out the mix from All Nights to Don't You, because it's a lot longer now and sequenced differently.

Anyhow, thanks for the feedback mate, very much appreciated!
