Crazy Crazy night again! after Morillo I did not get much sleep and spent the day walking around downtown before having to go the club.
We arrive at 11:30 walking towards the club about a block away you can hear the music lound and clear from Vangelli, the line up was pretty big but we got in no problem which just made me think tonight is going to be a good night. Stupid me I bought pre sale tickets for like $25 online and it ended up being $15 at the door with reduced guest list.
Once inside it was rammed already! Vangelli had the music cranked so high it was unbearable at some points, I had to make my way to the gallery to withdraw money and see if Ovi was on yet but he wasn't on so i just grabbed a couple of drinks and put in my ear plugs before I walked back in to the abnormally loud circus. Vangelli has really nice tracks, his selection is amazing with very nice melodies and vocals here and there at the right time, but... his mixing was terrible! it was the equivalent of a first time driver (start,stop,start,stop) but like I said his track selection made up for it.
As I drank more it the crowd got more bearable, a lot of really nice looking woman around last night and not that much animosity between people seeing that getting from one end of the room to the other was the biggest task, especially to get out to the patio.
Craziest part of my night though was when I went to use the washroom in the gallery before angello came on I'm walking there and I see these people making out and all of a sudden the dude starts licking up and down her face :conf: I walk past to use the washroom and then go see who is spinning, I walk back to go towards main room and get pushed accidentally spilling this girls drink, she then turns and try's to throw the rest of it on me and it ends up missing me and going all over this big muscle guy, I walk by quick look back and she is holding an empty cup.. this guy throws a wind up punch at her and sends her to floor :eek: really messed up.
Steve Angello was the best I have ever heard him, he just went hard the whole night mixing it up with the different genres, I am not a big electro fan but what he played was so proper and it made you want to dance. The crowd reaction was amazing, everybody with their hands up screaming,dancing,jumping around with so much energy it was really awesome to see. I wish his set was a little longer but with how good he was I wasn't disappointed. Angello really loves this city and I am happy to hear he didn't play the same set he always plays. Too much alcohol,great company of friends jamming out together,great music & beautiful woman.. what more can you ask for?

Holy crap that was a FULL HOUSE!!!!
Was there for a random hour or two.... could not enjoy myself. But it seemed like a fun party. |

What a wikkid set...
I didn't see any WMC set from anyone of SHM and that made me wonder if they had it in them or it was time for them to turn sell out (you know what i mean)...
and Angello brought the goods.... mixing in classics into new tunes.... the perfect balance for EVERYONE to enjoy....
The crowd was good... a lot of younger cats coming in...
The one thing when it comes to the Guv and women is that theres either no women or really hot women.... and last nyte there was nuff hot women lol....
there was this one girl in the patio, i swear she was taller then me, and im 6'2 lol....
i havent been to the Guv for a bit, minus laidback luke 2 weeks ago.... but i think the club is starting to pick up again with the younger generation moving in now....
there was one moment when Angello turned down the volume for show me love and the crowd was so slow on the uptake, it was pretty terrible.... Agello was laughing.... but he did it again for Waiting 4 and i think we redeemed our selves....
overal wikkid wikkid time at Guv.....
Still can't get over how good Angello did.... If you like SHM you missed out big, straight up.... |

That's weird, I paid 20 for reduced.... Anyways. Whoever was playing right before angello, I'm assuming vangelli, had wicked tracks... Very hard. I think angello wasn't as good as he was last janurary... Retire kidsos please... And mark oliver after, was the worse I ever heard IMO.... Hated everything he played, really weird |

Angellos stuff was a lot trancier than what he usually plays but yeah it was a night not to be missed, so damn epic!!! And guv really didnt cheap out with that fog machine lol
Also +1 to the hot women comment, some of them were unbelievable. |

I was @ the main doors when they were giving the reduced entry tickets @ around 11:45 and that was the price for reduced. |

what the hell was he playing? I couldn't take it...left 15 minutes after he came on...
anyways, I had a good time..it was a good crowd and a fun party (loved the confetti machine :) ) but the music in the gallery was more my thing... |
