The only definition of synaesthesia I'm aware of is the perception of colors triggered by auditory stimuil (usually music). I have never heard of tactile manifestations attributed to it. Entirely possible there's more to it than I know though. |

There's more to it than that. I know some people always perceive certain numbers as being certain colors and so forth. It's not limited to any one sense or pair of senses. |

I experience something like that when I listen to really good/evocative music, or in the presence of someone I enjoy. Not sure if their voices have anything to do with it, it's more so what they say..
I've never given it much thought, really. It's one of those things that happen once in a while that I just enjoy and never question. |
