| They should call it BPM sundays and let tony and nathan take over, because this party was Jus Wack(Jus Jack was the "headliner") PEOPLE WERE PISSED about forking over $40 to see him. I'd be pissed too if i hadnt been comped. advice, find out who's playing ahead of time, the tao beach lineups have been released thru summer. and you have encore beach as an option as well. wet paid for the brand name, but they arent getting any of the good stuff, they are the outlet mall of vegas pools! |

the party launched last sunday... and occurs every sunday.
so its their brand, but they are not in attendance, tricky marketing gimmick. |

| i agree they should publish the actual dj lineups ahead of time... i knew David and Cathy were only going to make a few appearances but with their names behind it, they should have top level talent each week. |

not tricky at all...they never said david guetta was going to be there, and i pressed them a bunch over on facebook if he was or was NOT going to be playing bc it was going to piss off a bunch of people. basically u have wet republic venue, a bunch of FMIF beach balls, 3 *** floaties taking up pool space and then an F and 3 *** balloons above one of the rooftop areas above the vip pool. oh ya this too.
the staff wears FMIF shirts and there is a merchandise tent..
oh and headliners such as JUS JACK !!!! |

| sorry my google-fu is weak this morning, but i was just curious what the deal was with cathy guetta? all of a sudden david's co-promoting everything with her ... i get that she's his wife, but is that it? or is she also involved in music? |

Question - would it even be *worth* staying an extra day MDW if Guetta is really there? Or is the whole Wet Republic thing just WACK? never been...this thread is turning me off.
staying at the Encore, could just go to Encore beach but hella expensive that weekend, and I don't really care much for Deadmou5e |

he will be there MDW. i like Wet as a venue... just depends on your musically taste IMO
Encore will be fun all weekend - they also have Afrojack and Kaskade on Sat and Sun... |

If you're staying at Encore do you know if there is any way to get into the pool party/Surrender comp'd/discount/line pass? (Realize that is almost a guaranteed no for MDW, but doesn't hurt) - the tix are just too outrageous - if I'm spending that dough, has to be someone I know I want to see.
Is Wet more of venue and less of a pool? I'm also guessing that Guetta tix will be $$$ but you would want to do that to actually assure that you get in. |

you can't really go wrong with either venue... crowd is a bit more upscale at Encore IMO, but you will have a great time at either place. Wet is bigger... more of everything... Encore a bit nicer IMO |
