Calling all irish tas! (or uk tas who agreed with my last post)

| well, to get the the name changed, we'll need 10 people, im assuming i can already count on dj o'callaghan, so 8 more pleez. and in response to some worries, no way would we expect any ukta to change to a ukarta! (although personnally i think its got a nice ring to it!) u stick to ukta, ur from there, u do ur thing! changing the name will just give us irish a place to hang out too, coz many a time ive post a thread about an irish event not got a single reply. i know u say that we're welcome in the uk forum anyway, and thx, but not without having the definate ireland name there, a lot of people just won't bothter coz they think there'll be no one there! and to neo, i didnt post this 6 months ago, i did pm swamper a couple of weeks back, but that obviously didnt work. and it aint that big a deal, anywhere in statistics or anything where these 2 great islands are in, u never see just uk, u see uk and irelan or great britain and ireland, it just makes sense! |

if you want my two pence on the matter, to be honest nobody who lives in ireland posts there. and by that i mean 0. i think maybe theres two posts in the "how many ukta's
calla is irish but lives in england so its still discussion about stuff in the uk.
i dont really care its called as long as its not the gaylord forum or summat :stongue: . but really there isnt the "need" if u catch my drift/ |

no i didnt get an answer, i was told if i got 10 people and pmed swamper, then id get it changed, so thats wot im doing, if u fiond it annoying, leave ur potatoes at home and dont bother reading the post! this is just a little personnel crusade of mine, and ain't stopping til i get it changed!
ps: dumonde trancer, there are at least 2 tas living in ireland who post fairly regularly, me and another guy, but i cant quite remember his name. |

| It should definetly be changed to UK & Ireland. Not that the Irish can't post in there anyway :) Asking one country to post in another countries forum "just because they're closest" is cheeky at the best of times, not least when it's the UK & Ireland :p |
