It's unfortunate I had to leave before they wrapped up, but holy crapola they are f'n awesome! Consider me blown away. I wasn't going to attend, but had a work function that ran late and decided to stop by. Oh boy, am I happy I did!!!! It's rare a DJ (or DJs) come out and just blow my socks off, but shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetttttt they are f'n awesome! Their programming is top-notch. They work so well together! Their mixing was way better than I ever expected. Actually, their mixing was so smooth it was just straight up impressive. They have this big-room house sound that's anything but cheesy and had the crowd rockin! And I heard ZERO cheese, even with the voice/vocal overlays. They just did it right.
Color me impressed! The last time I think I was this impressed, unexpectedly, was when I saw Sander van Doorn at Ten15 in January 2006.
If they are smart, stay true their style, and just get the right PR (the are with Dave Lewis Prod), they are going to be HUUUUUUUUUUGEEEEEE in the next couple of years. They have a sound that both house and trance fans can really get into. They call themselves house DJs, but their style can definitely bring fans of both together.
Diryhertz did an amazing job setting them up. I've heard him open for plenty of people, and I think his setup for the headliners tonight was perrrrrfect. When RM-SJ came on, if you didn't know better, you would've never even guessed a new DJ came on. They just took over an just ran off with how he left off perfectly. |

Seriously, dude! All I want right now is more SJ & RM. Really really blew me away.
And have to say how great a job Dirtyhertz led into them again. I think SJ&RM were even trying to steal a couple of Reza's CDs at the end and fighting over them lol. |

I know a DJ (or DJs in this case) has left a mark on me when it's three days later and I want to hear more of them than anyone else right now!!!
Yep, I'm going to talk them up a lot in the future. |
