| No, not ready, unless Piknic is behind it. |

Well I guess the word MASSIVE here would be used as one single event with 10,000 plus people, not part of Igloofest, Mutek or Piknic.
A la 514 |

oh... in that case I guess it depends what kind of line up we're talking about here... also depends what date theyd want to throw the party on...
plus i really dont think the cops want to give out anymore "massive" permits... look at what happened with maskerade |

I would like to see that, put do we really have the numbers to allow it?
If you have like Zabiela, Holden and a bunch of others. Not sure if 10,000 people show up though.
To be honest, if its not trance or generic house, most Montrealers don't care. Let them listen to their idols; Armin, Tiesto and M.C Mario. True, Sasha and Digweed do bring out a ton of people, but most of them probably haven't been listening to Sasha or Digweed since 1998. They probably all started listening to them back in like 2006 or 2007.
All in all, people like their cheese and nothing will change that.
The best massive that ever happened to this city was under the banner of "Cream". Sucks that 514 Productions or whomever was running Cream doesn't exist anymore.

As I said before, in a thread many years back. Ferry's set was so out of sync, compared to others. Not sure why he was booked, they should have really booked Danny Howells instead. What I posted above, now thats a proper massive. It just sucks many people never went that year, which was the finally year :( The pyrotechnics was interesting, nothing spectacular. Plus I think they had beds in the VIP booth ;)
If Stereo plans on doing a massive of some sort, they probably will book like C&C to bring their main crowd and after that book a few big names like Howells, Zabiela and someone else and they will have something that would destroy Black & Blue and Bal en Blanc in one shot. Plus to even make their event more memorable, do it outdoors (i.e Osheaga). Screw indoor events, those are a dime a dozen now in this city. |

| I'll believe it when I see it. Montreal is already over saturated in terms of festivals, this could be risky if they are not affiliated with the rest of the summer fests. All the big ones now work together to maximize tourism profits. I'm curious, but at first glance I'm thinking that this will be like the terrace bonsecours thing. lets see. |
