Oh yes, that one place with the coffee shop. I used to clean one of those at night, I made $8.50!

I have ADD

I was diagnosed with Schizophrenia a few months ago. It was a shock to me because I didn't think it was interfering with my life very much. It's interesting the perception of that disease throughout most normal people in society. A lot of people mistake it for multiple personality disorders, etc. It's actually pretty easily treated, and doesn't really cause me any problems in my everyday life.

GID
the transgender community has to say they suffer from GID in order to receive insurance benefits. I think it's debatable whether or not it is an actual 'illness', but as long as they keep giving me discounts I'm sick as hell.

Schizoid, a 'disorder', not sure if it goes as a mental illness.
But not really. But almost.

Schizoid Personality Disorder? I believe that is in the ICD. That's the one where you lack an interest in forming relationships with others, being intimate etc.?

Yeah, that :P
Except it's not been diagnosed by an authority, I just match a lot of the symptoms. I talked about it a good friend of mine who is also a doctor and he agreed. He also agreed he's one to some extent.
But I guess it's far fetched to claim something like this without having it diagnosed properly. 7/10 fits, 2/10 to some extent. So it's not full blown at least. I function socially because I know I need to.

Right. I know a lot of people who fit a lot of the symptoms for various mental disorders, but have never been treated for them in their life, and function fairly well in normal society. Obviously some people don't have the ability to function at all in society, but to a certain extent some of these conditions are manageable on your own.
