i wonder how accurate that bpm counting app is on your phone because i doubt a person can tap the beat perfectly. i wonder what the bpm count was on the cdj.

Now THAT is what I call techno!!!

And Deko-ze???

AGAIN with a ing incredible opener....

Good thing about opening for Yoji is that he plays so hard that the opener doesn't have to be scared to bang out a strong set....

This combination is out of this world...

Too bad this city can't handle the beats...

We were only at about 3/4 last night...

Better than expected. Guv was at a good capacity and the crowd was not at all aggressive. Deko-Ze played a good opener with a nice variety of styles. I swear he even played some early 90's acidic prog trance (he played it after a remix of Humate-Love Stimulation, someone ID if possible). He also played A remix of Madagascar (pretty sure Ferry Corsten) and Ridgewalkers-Till there was you (G&D Remix).

Yoji came on at around 2. He started off with some banging techno which was more or less where Deko-Ze left off his set. No complaints there; the transition was smooth and fit in with the time of the night. I left around 3 as the Rev's took it out of me but from what I experienced it was a 7/10 night. Good seeing Shaya and ChemEnhanced.

BTW: Just when you think you've seen it all, someone was having their wedding reception at Guv last night.
ChemEnhanced
You Deko-ze....seriously You. What give you the right to make me dance my ass off like that....this is not acceptable.

Yoji was exceptional and started off with some serious banging techno. There were a few times where I felt he slowed it down a little too much but he brought it back ten fold. By 4 am my legs were done. I would say last night was one of the better Yoji performances in the last few years.
