It was good seeing deko-ze out in the crowd dancing after his set.

That was anything BUT techno
Wasn't there, but I've listened to what this guy plays and for once, I agree with Jay.
Techno, seen?
And to the next person who tells me genres aren't important - go to the grocery store when you're really, really craving a nice cut of steak to barbeque and buy some pickled pig's feet instead.
No biggie, 'cuz it's all meat in the end, right?

LMAO!!!
"This is not techno. This is NOT techno. This is tech-jazz."
Nice sound though. It'd be just perfect on a summer day by the pool or on the beach...
Is this what you play at your deck party??
I enjoyed it...
PivotTechno
Yeah, well UR always try to set themselves apart from the pack, even though they pretty much pioneered the genre... ;)
And yeah, this is the kind of stuff we rock - though we no longer have the deck at our new place, which will soon be our old place, as we have to move yet again...so hopefully we'll have a deck again, soon.
Anyway, threadjack, but if you want more of the same, peep the mix I posted in the [tekno time] thread.

Better than expected. Guv was at a good capacity and the crowd was not at all aggressive. Deko-Ze played a good opener with a nice variety of styles. I swear he even played some early 90's acidic prog trance (he played it after a remix of Humate-Love Stimulation, someone ID if possible). He also played A remix of Madagascar (pretty sure Ferry Corsten) and Ridgewalkers-Till there was you (G&D Remix).
Yoji came on at around 2. He started off with some banging techno which was more or less where Deko-Ze left off his set. No complaints there; the transition was smooth and fit in with the time of the night. I left around 3 as the Rev's took it out of me but from what I experienced it was a 7/10 night. Good seeing Shaya and ChemEnhanced.
BTW: Just when you think you've seen it all, someone was having their wedding reception at Guv last night.
Yes that must have been Love Stimulation. Was talking to him the night before and he said he was going to play it. I think i was outside for it so I don't remember it being played.
Short but INSANE Night...we came to see Deko-ze and just a bit of Yoji and that is exactly what we did. Holy crap did Michael bang it out towards the end of his set.
Nick I have never seen you dance like that in my life. I swear you gave me a run for my money. Awesome man! There was one track that you went particularly nutty too with a repeating vocal that I cannot remember...id?
