For anyone that doesn't know about the IDENTITY the Festival, it is a traveling EDM Festival starting on Aug. 11 and ending Sept. 10.

Best of all they are stopping in Tampa on the 24th and Miami on the 25th!

The website shows that the only ones not playing all dates are Skirllex, Avicii, Modeselektor. I don't see how this will work at all for Tampa, not on a Wednesday. Outdoor Amphitheater would mean the fairgrounds, but the second stage area normally used at 97x and Family Values etc is way too small, whereas the main stage doesn't really have any dance room. With a Miami date the following day it just seems like too much production and equipment to successfully pull off.

I hope I am wrong... Shadow/Erol Alkan/Holy Ghost do it for me.

I wouldn't say that line-up is worth skipping EDC. Seeing as Paul Van Dyk, Markus Schulz, Gabriel and Dresden, and Ferry Corsten are going to be there. That's pretty trance heavy. To each his/her own though.

Update: Ultra Music Festival has apparently teamed up with IDentity Festival. Whatever that means, I mean the lineup hasn't changed or anything so I'm not sure if all they did was add the UMF tag to draw more people...

Steve Aoki billed above DJ Shadow means the end of the world really is coming.

+1 what the hell is wrong with people!

ChurchOfArmin
Yeah, I saw him recently an he's really not that impressive. He's more of a showman. But yeah DJ Shadow should not be second fiddle.
PatMcGroin
