I was wondering the same thing. Esp. with some of the severe storms we get in the summer, that can come out of nowhere!

So will the people participating in this be protected against lightning strikes? I guess if there is a risk of a thunderstorm, they will just shut it down until the thunderstorm passes...

I doubt that they would allow anyone to go outside in a storm. I imagine it would be treated the same as an amusement park ride. If it's raining, thunder and lightening, or in some cases way too windy, they would shut it down.


I've always wanted to go sky diving but am too chicken. I would do this though. A step in the right direction.
