Well I don't have any of the parts of a man left except my genitals, which are a constant source of horror and disappointment to me, so they were never 'the best' anyway. I've certainly given up all 'male privilege', and at this point I'm still on the wrong side of cis-female privilege too.
Also, my quibble with 'the best of being a man and a woman' is that it has very sexist implications.
This isn't a 'best of both worlds' scenario.
In many ways it is extremely costly both in terms of emotions, relationships, health, and money.
There is no choice except between joy and self-realization, and depression. |
