Surprisingly weather permitted throughout the day. As soon as the sun shined out; AVB showed up. AVB delivered a pretty solid set. Started off the first hour pretty hard and progressive leaving the last hour more techy uplifting basslines like my boy "spin" indicated ;) However, was a bit disappointed to see AVB leave 30mins early (4-7:30). The set was completely identical to the Roseland Ballroom set he played 2 days before.

99.9% of all the tracks were all played just the obvious more in a different order. Add another dozen tracks to fill in such as tracks like Dj's United "Remember Love", Sleepwalkers, In & out of love remix, zombie nation (soccer theme song) and some unknown bangers (4).
It was good to see a lot of familiar faces for the event, the t,o and ottawa t.a's all came in full force; spin, lift, coxx, trancegal, ay star, dj eterno, and many more! Amazing partying with you all...
I believe they were saying approximately 5K-6K attended today. Dubfire at Picnik probably took a good chunk of the party population.
All in all great party! Hoping to see more events with the new stage involved. I think combining both worlds for trance and house lovers would be a great idea. Particularly, would love to see Cox and AVB both headline a show together.

this felt like the perfect threshold for Beach Club, with maybe 1K or 2K more max, anything beyond that the place becomes uncomfortable, imo.

I thought Armin's show was A1 but the crowd wasn't at all crazy like I've heard people say. In fact Armin himself looked kind of pissed off seeing a crowd that slow... Maybe that's the reason why he quit so early... Also, I didn't hear "Status Excessu D" so correct me if I'm wrong... Was looking forward to hear "Winter Stayed" but that's my only real disappointment ;)

Any chance this set was recorded by Beachclub?? There is a recording of Armin's set from Roseland Ballroom NYC from 2 nights before... would LOVE to have this set, as this was probably my best party experience ever and I'd love to have a recording of it.
