not my gf john, but good seeing you, ted, and alan on the boat.
sasha, zabs, and dj three were all at le bain, and i left around 110am when sasha was ripping it at le bain.
i can say that had to be one of the best parties i'd ever been to on the lady windridge. very chill crowd, very up for the music. dj three opened things up for about an hour, then zabiela for an hour, then sasha from about 815 til the boat pulled back into the piers around 1030, with some tag teaming in there.
zabiela at one point pulled out radiohead's everything in its right place, and tbh, that's the first time i'd ever liked listening to that song. it definitely fit in with what zabiela was throwing down. |

| btw i think someone on the boat mentioned that the set(s) were being recorded. hopefully this is true. |

Nah, as long as you're dressed nice, you're fine. It's a Monday night, ffs! Heard it's not really much of a problem for Ete d'Amour on Sundays. |

they were. i remember seeing an audio guy messing with a recording device that had a mic on it for crowd volume in front of the booth early on. now lets just hope it gets released! |

This party needs to be yearly.
Amazing vibe/view, grown up crowd, great sets (dug Zabiela's the most), good food, top shelf booze & perfect weather to top it off.
All 3 DJs came to the after party @ Le Bain. Sasha threw down a pretty good set, as did Samsara who opened up proper for him. Three closed out the night and I think James Zabiela was just hangin out and talking to everyone - which is dope either way.
Wish there were more parties like this.. |

Glad everyone had fun. Wish there were some more thorough reviews, though. As far as tracks, aside from the few mentioned here, the only others that I heard he played were Sven Vath - Barbarella & Underworld - Dark & Long, both during the fireworks. Hope they release a good chunk of the 5 hours on Proton.
We ended up getting rid of our tickets after talking with the guys throwing the party. I was on call, and couldn't really risk getting called in to work after dropping $300 on tickets (my gf wasn't going to go by herself, and a lot of her friends had already decided to go to Lee). Good times at the Lee party, after not getting called in to work. He played a very smooth set that was perfect for the venue/weather/party vibe. Hopefully this is also released. For the first All Day I Dream party that I wasn't at, supposedly it didn't record, so I hope they took a 2nd shot at it.
I heard that the Bpitch party was also good from friends that went, so I'm glad to hear that all of my EDM friends that went out for the 4th enjoyed awesome parties. |
