Culprit's fifteenth release "How Can I Feel" sees Inxec team up with his NYC-based cohort Leks Vargas. Leks has built a name for himself in New York over the past few years as an outstanding DJ and the founder and creator of the AMPD! party series, at which he has hosted the likes of Delano Smith, Soul Clap, Inxec, Droog, Lauhaus, Tom Demac, Brothers' Vibe and Alexi Delano. With this EP it's clear that Inxec's prolonged stay in America has influenced his sound with the artist splitting time between his new NYC base and his LA "second home". Chris unites three strains of US based house sounds on this EP. Channeling moody late night soul that's firmly rooted in the mid-90s New York sound on "Deee-Groove" - seeped in 4am groove dynamics; shimmering and playful West Coast house in "How Can I Feel," driven by one of Culprit's most unabashedly uplifting vocals on record; and off-kilter, wonky warmth in "Sprinkles", referencing modern Detroit deep tech stylings.
Bas has really been waiting for this one. This has it all for bas. It is structured well for him to put it in his sets just so and not even care. There aren't enough sunsets in the world that can compare to the time he has been waiting for this moment. When this track would combine with the purchasing power of beatport and the wanting power of a currency increment so that the millions of like minded people may once again realize how ineffectuallfiy they have been spending their money.
