Okay I think this is my first post on TranceAddict. So I'm an indie filmmaker based in Los Angeles and I used to run the Northern CA chapter of DanceSafe.org (we're the ones who sell the E testing kits). Those of you in my area are probably well aware of all the turmoil and media hysteria that blew up after last summer's EDC which is what eventually drove EDC to move to Las Vegas. Well I have a documentary coming out later this year detailing the story of how it all happened. Hope to have your support!!

After EDC is a documentary examining the incidents behind the 14th annual Electric Daisy Carnival, a 2-day festival hosted at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum which drew the largest attendance ever in the history of music gatherings in North America. What started as a weekend celebration of electronic dance culture ended with shocking news headlines of injuries, drug overdoses, and one tragic death. The level of media coverage paid to EDC - unseen with any other event in the past decade - reignited a debate over the role of ecstasy in the rave scene, and prompted Los Angeles County to design public safety measures that had never before been attempted by any body of government in the United States. This film explores the strength of electronic dance culture and the relationship between the rave community and public officials - that which has been put to the test within a web of music, drugs, and politics on the brink of implosion in Los Angeles. Directed by Le Sheng Liu. Produced in association with DanceSafe. Scheduled for completion this summer. |

| The only way I will go to a rave is with a handful of pills and a chainsaw. |

| There's a chance I will have some Above & Beyond and Super8 & Tab music in this film. Discussing it with the record labels now. Wish me luck in getting their permission! |

| Oh I have a friend who is studying to be an acupuncturist and he does the suction cups too. He's given me a few treatments before. Did you get a lot of business at EDC at your booth? |
