Super trippy stuff, nice and grooving buddy. Cool sounds for sure. Last 3 chords at the end are kind of strange though. Like right at the end of the preview. I like it though. Maybe a small melodic line on top somewhere to give it another hook quality, but it's good man nice work.
edit: not sure i listened to the latest version so this time I did.
some other notes. nice kick for sure. could have some bassline relationship enhancement. the vocals are SO trippy lol. percs are nice and tight. I think the only thing that needs to be brought out a little more is the bassline itself. Breakdown with those chords could use a little more energy control I think, starting small and going big, but yeah just an idea. |

Thx Man, yeah the lower bass that comes in after a while is not sidechained or anything yet so it is'nt bouncing with the kick yet - it's because of the way my partner and I download the track from SC and just play stuff over the MP3 - but the the end we'll get all WAVS into one project and tity up.
Thamks for the tip on the break, I knew something was not right, and you've helped crystalise in my mind what needs doing. Tis why I love feedback!
ANYONE KNOW WHAT FREQ ON THE KICK IS CAUSING A BIT OF A PLASTICKY SOUNDING OVERLOAD WHEN PLAYED BACK ON CONSUMER LOW GRADE KIT?
I cannot pin it down as I don't have low grade PC speakers in the studio. |

| This absolutely kills in all of the good ways. Could use a little tidying up or not. Damn, man. It's just good and I'm impressed. Definitely in El Teritoridad del Trippo. |

Thanks Ed - someone I respect a lot heard it and said it made them cry - damn I hope they didn't mean because it's awful!
Lots of tidying and sorting to do on it now. |

Out of interest how would you alter the arrangement if it were you mate? I'm always interested in different view points.
I am doing a lot of tidying and trying to make it less cluttered and more distinct in places.
Cheers and thx Stewart. |

Yep great potential, but sort out the mix everything now bounces all over the place, which helps to the confusion trippy side but is not so trippy on a full range pa system. sort out the low end, make it tight and do te trippy things somewhere above 2K or so.
but yeah if you can tighten it up, think Carl Cox would like this. |

I feel like you try to cram too much stuff into your song in some places. You have two lead ideas going at once, one panned right and one panned left, and it would probably work better with just one idea going at a time.
If you made the arrangement more predictable, I think it would sound better. |

I'm giving myself a rest from this for a few days and will then go right through and clean up. I know what you mean about going with one lead at any one time - I'm all for punch and just saying 'here's the leed, that's all you get, tough' and trying not to be tempted to layer up so much.
Cheers, and cheers Rapohie - all comments taken on board. |
