i bought a ticket and didn't go to this because i had some things to do on a sunday but i heard this party was a show from a couple of people. Anyone from here go? i actually have Farina ticket for this week but dont know if its worth going anymore..
Special K
A couple of posters off of here went last night so maybe they can shed some light on it :p

FWIW though, the promoters for the party on Friday are different then the promoters that threw the party last night, so maybe that had something to do with the event last night?
The Highroller
I've been to Sunnyside a few times and have always had a great time.

What exactly happened?
geroin
from what i've heard there was a massive lineup and people waited hours to get in and then eventually the event got shutdown earlier than it was supposed to.
Big Boss
There were a lot of wipeouts. Ambulance and police were called to take care of the irresponsible partiers, which held up the line for about an hour.

Very good looking crowd, really busy...
The Highroller
I don't expect Farina to be like this. Different promoters, crowd and situation. It's never been like that any other time i've gone.
FunkyCrew
hm same promoters as Martinez Bros. last summer?

Yup.
Never been to sunnyside, wondering if it's worth the trip down.

i don't think promoters are at fault for this, i'm thinking its more related to sunnyside management/staff as there were massive lineups to washrooms and at the bar as well from what i was told..
Nata
this party was just one massive lineup

We waited for 1.5 hrs at the door to get in because of the gtards situation which called for police and ambulances, this i guess put the party on the police radar so they had to shut it down at around 10.40 if not even earlier. There was one bar set up with MASSIVE line ups, and also a massive line ups at the port a potties. So you just basically had to push and shove and wait around the whole time you were at this party.

I'm not exactly sure if it's the promoters fault, i think it's more of the venue staff issue. The thing I found most annoying was the security that worked there. I've never encountered such RUDE security anywhere in my days of parting. First when we were waiting outside for over an hour to get in, one of the girls in the line asked the security what the hold up was about, pretty politely and the guy just replied "do you actually think I'm gonna answer you", she was like "is it a secret or something?" and he was said "is this your, first time at a club, guess it's really a learning curve for you then". Was that really necessarily?

Than i was looking for an ATM, to take money to spend in their establishment, and when i asked the security he literally rolled his eyes waived his hand and walked away. OK buddy very professional

Anyways overall, i wouldn't say the crowd was better looking than any other party, we saw lots of ppl that were super mashed, but people were having fun and the venue minus all it's problems is soooo nice. it's a shame the management can't be more easy going and actually allow ppl to have proper parties in there.

Is it just me or has this summer been an absolute new low for irresponsible partying. Makes me sick....
