| as has been hammered home an ample amount of times already, whether or not she is some sort of economic ace does not alienate herself from what are clearly bigoted, ignorant ethics. issues like that are not efficiently compartmentalized and stored in neat little containers, only to make appearances when the topic of religion or homosexuality comes up; they'll be (amongst other things) floating about her head, constantly clouding judgement. |

What!? He's anything but an idiot! Despite our ideological differences, it'd be unfair to say he's that much wrong if/when we disagree with him (besides, we can err just as much). |

Even if he is right he should be punished for not believing in what we believe in. |

Honestly, Kev, what is your opinion about the main Republican candidates right now? Because they all scare me. |
I'm pretty unhappy at the moment... but it's early as hell. A year and 5 months out from the 2008 election, it was a given that Hillary was a lock. The old establishment guys like Newt and Romney don't do it for me (although if they got the nomination, I would certainly vote for them over Obama). Newt is one of the smartest guys around, a historical genius, and would obliterate Obama in a debate... but he goes way off the reservation, hates to be challenged, and has too much personal baggage. His day has come and gone. John Huntsman is McCain part duex- peace out douchebag.
I wouldn't mind Rick Perry jumping in- 47% of all jobs created in the US in 2010 happened in Texas which is a great thing to stand behind right now, and he isn't a squishy McCain type loser who panders in the identity politics arena. I also wouldn't mind Chris Christie for the most part (even with a couple of RINO tendencies), but he won't run. Whoever gets the nomination needs to get a solid ing VP candidate on the ticket. That may be the deciding factor. |
