Here's my review:

Friday night: waited in monte carlo with tons of people for 1.5 hours with the line moving ever so slightly, said it and drove instead and lost $60 on my 3 day shuttle, did not trust insomniac after they posted there would be more shuttles available.

got in past 12am cus of the damn traffic and only saw a bit of cosmic gate, then tiesto and calvin harris and i was done for the night. Got tons of hate and love for my dubstep can off shirt

Saturday night: afrojack, green velvet and umek. First time i saw green velvet and i thought it was pretty damn interesting.

Sunday: Saw above & beyond @ TAO beach along with EC twins. Met GPC while waiting in line for bathroom, recognized him from his av.

Later @ EDC saw infected mushroom, swedish house mafia, markus shulz, dash berlin and showtek. As i was waiting for markus to come on ATB was spinning the most horrid set! how the can this mother****** play nirvana and then sing over it with the wrong lyrics and transition and drop ecstasy lol

All in all, I hope this stays in vegas

Backstage wristbands + complimentary booze + kicking it with DJ's = Impossible to have a bad time

We went Friday night and Sunday night. Unreal production and EDC is one hundred times better in Vegas when compared to being in LA. Still too many kids but we didn't have to really deal with it and that's what partying at a massive entails so no loss there. The only read bad thing about the festival was the amount of commercial music being played. God awful tracks everywhere you walked. However, I can only imagine the lineup getting stronger and stronger as the years pass and EDC becomes a premiere stop on a great DJs annual tour schedule.

good: 1. good music sets for the most part
2. no 14 year olds pushing in lines
3. fireworks

bad: 1. insomniac lying about free refreshments
2. insomniac lying about free refreshments
3. insomniac lying about free refreshments

i have two questions.
1) are they legally allowed to advertise free refreshments for VIP, but not actually follow through with this?
2) is it worth sending them a formal complaint?

My favorite sets:
Christopher Lawrence
Hernan Cattaneo
Plastikman
Dash Berlin

Great event overall. Will definitely consider going back next year.

I heard they sign a contact so the event will be in Vegas for 5 years at least?

We're close on favorite sets, mine were:

Christopher Lawrence
Plastikman
and pretty much everyone in the Heineken tent.

My only complaint about EDC was that so many djs seem to play the same sound these days that there isn't as much diversity. Anything that's harder edged or has a good groove is good for me. Thank heavens for CL and Plastikman, next year let's get Sven Vath too :)

Friday = very so so and horrific traffic situation (poor planning). Richie Hawtin's Plastikman was very cool tho. Sub Focus was great but his MC was awful. Sander van Doorn started off well but lost steam... didn't take any risks. Steve Angello overrated as usual. lol @ Tiesto inviting

Saturday = Much better traffic situation. Epic sets by Bassnectar, Above & Beyond, and Benny Benassi. LMAO @ David Guetta bringing Flavor Flav on stage to yell over the tracks. Could he sell out any lower?

Sunday = Best day. Markus Schulz raped hard. Dark techgasm. Nuff said
