WTF? for some reason, its completly lost all my favorites/start menu programs/quick launch programs/ and MY Documents
i'm using xp, my sister did somthing. i dont know what!
grrr...
i figured out how to find my documents, it was hidden/read only, so I switched it, andnow it works, but the rest is still gone. someone help. |

| When stuff like that happens to me (Things dissapering) I ussually just turn my computer ON. and they all pop up on the screen. Kinda magic. |

Haha. That same thing happened to me with my sister. She somehow move them all to the recycle bin and move to other folders. I eventually got it back by searching around..kicked her ass then set a password to the computer. But I dunno where yours could be. :/ |

first find your sister, make sure she isn't kicking and screaming so the neighbors won't call the police.
then tie her down and explain that computers are not big scary dragons who will only be fed if important documents are put in the recycle bin. use hickory stick if necissary. |

| I would suggest you create an account for her (make sure you don't give her admin access :p) and the next time you walk away from your computer, lock it or log out... |

Always have a back up! Zip it in a folder with a very boring name like "Javanese grammar" or "pancreology". What do you need school for? :D
And the next time you choose a topic, try to write something not too far from the truth... for some seconds, I actually though the computer was flirting with you :p
How old is your sister, by the way? (maybe she didn't realise what she was doing) |
