just found out a friend just got into a motorcycle accident. she was riding on the back and a car hit them from behind. she broke her spine in 3 different places. so sad.

Oh gee, how about the fact that most motorcycle riders die due to head injuries, and many more are saved from death or permanent disability because of the helmet?
