If you are "shocked" by the verdict, here is a quick criminal justice refresher course for you: The Prosecution never proved its case. No murder weapon, no clear-cut motive, no eye-witnesses, and mostly statements of limited value from tangentially-involved parties. Like it or not, this is how it's supposed to work. If the State doesn't prove its case, this is what you get
