lax moderation doesn't help to nip the problem in the bud either. mass bullying or plain stupidity make this place like taking a dip in a cesspool of AIDS on a hot summer day. I guess if TA was making money on visitors things would be different as there would be more reasons to actually increase and retain visitor traffic. Ultimately, I think the fate of TA community, unless things drastically change, is pretty much sealed. And it is a shame, as I (and I believe) many others really used to enjoy coming here and would spend hours a day, whereas now - I try to avoid this place unless I'm completely bored and theres absolutely nothing else to do.
Which, if you think about it, may be a positive thing from a productive use of time standpoint. |

I usually don't care for your posts but I tend to agree with you. That's why I try not to post anything serious or personal here anymore. |
