@We_R_DNA: Yes, but you have to play the game and win it before you're allowed to change the rules. Once wealthy, you can use your influence to affect things. Gotta get wealthy first, though. |

lax moderation doesn't help to nip the problem in the bud either. mass bullying or plain stupidity make this place like taking a dip in a cesspool of AIDS on a hot summer day. I guess if TA was making money on visitors things would be different as there would be more reasons to actually increase and retain visitor traffic. Ultimately, I think the fate of TA community, unless things drastically change, is pretty much sealed. And it is a shame, as I (and I believe) many others really used to enjoy coming here and would spend hours a day, whereas now - I try to avoid this place unless I'm completely bored and theres absolutely nothing else to do.
Which, if you think about it, may be a positive thing from a productive use of time standpoint. |
