| I buy a decent amount of stuff from beatport - i download more music illegally, of course, but I buy things from certain artists/labels that I'm really happy to support. I probably spend 25-75 bucks a month on beatport, which is a lot considering I don't have much of a disposable income |

When I buy something I would much rather get an actual CD than an mp3. It kinda makes me feel like I physically got something for my money lol
If I buy something digital then it's something I like that I don't already get on promo but I am on so many promo pools that rarely ever happens. I do purchase from beatport from time to time when its necessary.
Yea I'm admittedly a bit spoiled but I work for it. They wouldn't send them to me otherwise :p |

better than most that's for sure. you're doing a good thing for the people you support. even if you didn't spend that much it's still more than most can say at this point lol

enhanced puts out a lot of stuff you would hear on anjunabeats as well which is why your statement threw me off.
besides, just because armada has a lot of cheese doesn't mean theyre not housing some great acts at the moment! it all comes down to the artist and what they want to put out. i dont think armada is forcing anyone to any type of music - their sublabels actually have some fantastically unique music |

Im about 60% piracy to be honest. I would never buy music from a major dj/producer such as avb, markus, A&b etc, But I would pay top $$$ to go to their shows (sometimes as VIP) if I have to, so i think there's a balance there. In my opinion, Piracy is somewhat of a symbiosis when it comes to big names. I wouldn't be at their gigs if it wasn't for that album that I enjoyed so much which I happened to download illegally from a random forum. When it comes just to non-DJ-producers or a low profile artist, I feel almost obligated to buy it.
pd: I just pre-ordered Andrew Bayer's "Its Artificial" which is gonna to be massive. |

I buy a decent amount of music and like many have already stated, I also prefer a cd for some reason. Lately, though, I've been favoring the mp3 downloads because of the price difference. I really like purchasing artist albums because I get a collection of songs that will never make it to regular play. I also feel obligated to buy any new release in a series that I've been committed to, such as Markus' annual "city" ones and ISOS. I would probably purchase a ton more music than I do if it weren't for all the free podcasts on itunes. I don't have enough hours in the day to keep up with the ones I download.
On a sidenote, I just got to searcing online for some new music and discovered that Electronic Architecture 2 came out a couple months ago. I can't believe I missed it!! The first one remains my favorite compilation EVER. I just purchased and am downloading now. I haven't been this excited over a release in a long time.
