Where are you talking about, Shaw?? |
chicago, texas, misc. other places in the continental US. Are you saying an apartment can be freestanding or that a condo can be on the 47th floor? |

I don't think an apartment can be freestanding, but a condo can definitely be on the 47th floor. Apartment usually implies that it is rented out/leased from a landlord, while a condo is a place that is owned (at least in all of my experiences with it). |

I'm selling several cottages in Rockaway beach MO. You may buy them if you wish. Taney County, the area that they are located in is the meth capital of the US! Think of the deals you can make!!!
The place used to be quite nice in the 50's-70's so just use your imagination. You do have an imagination right? Well, ing use it here and live in the nostalgia.
It's in good condition; however, the motorcycle gangs have sort of taken over the area. Which means that there is always a place to drink and your friends will think you are bad ass just because of your postal code!
All 9 of the cottages and the main house overlook Lake Taneycomo. There is also an inground pool with diving board. It is located just 10 minutes outside of Branson Mo. The place where all of the country musicians and hack comedy acts you thought died ages ago come to perform. You know Yakov Smirnoff he's here and he says that this is a much better deal than anything you could find in Soviet Russia.
serious inquiries only, my time is valuable and I don't want any of you ****s wasting it if you aren't ready to shell out the green. (Will trade for amphetamines) |

I've only heard townhomes referred to as 'condos.' Legal classification > my passing knowledge, though. |

I have to grin at the images of a beautiful log cabin, river, and stunning view of nature as well as the sport-bike in the background. :p |

A condo is generally an owned property but is in a community that is managed by a company for maintenance etc. The building and it's property is owned by all of the residents (owners)...
Basically, if you live in a building but own your place, you're in a condo. If the whole building is rental units, it's an apartment...
Now that I think about it, NYC calls owned OR rented units apartments as well, don't they?? |
