Also I did mention developed countries but yeah there are far worse places than I can imagine but we have the biggest and longest highway on the planet and its certainly not getting any better as the years go by... we are also sandwiched in between several nuclear plants... if we had cleaner energy we might alleviate some of the problems we are going to encounter in the coming years.

CO2 Emissions (per capita)

Rank Countries Amount

# 1 Qatar: 40.6735 per 1,000 people

# 2 United Arab Emirates: 28.213 per 1,000 people

# 3 Kuwait: 25.0499 per 1,000 people

# 4 Bahrain: 20.0253 per 1,000 people

# 5 United States: 19.4839 per 1,000 people

# 6 Luxembourg: 17.977 per 1,000 people

# 7 Trinidad and Tobago: 16.8278 per 1,000 people

# 8 Australia: 16.5444 per 1,000 people

# 9 Canada: 15.8941 per 1,000 people

lol @ the oil countries the size of postage stamps getting the highest ranking. Then there are the rest that are northern countries that require emissions to keep ourselves alive. And considering that the US still makes a lot of the world's stuff, there is no reason why it wouldnt have a higher emissions rate. Id love to see china's overall output.

Ive been to china. Canada doesnt hold a candle to their air quality problems

Mine is working but it's a little less cool than it used to be. Also, the blower just became unbalanced so it vibrates the whole dash when I have it on. I'm walking to work these days though so it's not a huge deal but I really should get that fixed...

Well I wouldn't go that far but it was pretty bad in the past. I'm told it's much better now since they've tightened up on emission control.

Best part of cold/hot weather for me is the entertainment of listening to people complain about it. The same people I heard a month ago saying "where's summer omg this weather sucks" will be the same ones saying "ahhhh omg omg too hot". Amazes me how many people live in Canada and seem to be blown away by the weather year after year. It's a 4 season country with no thermostat controlling it, only to get worse if you believe the global warming hype.

I do feel bad for seniors and people that have to work in it though. But if you're outside of people heavily affected by it then meh just buckle up and enjoy cause winter is right around the corner.

The US is slaughtering our planet on a rapid basis. China despite being the second highest CO2 emitter as a whole has a much higher population than US. Apart from that their emissions per capita is far less ranking in at:

# 80 China: 2.65908 per 1,000 people

Here you go:

C02 Emissions - Total (by country)

Rank Countries Amount

# 1 United States: 5,762,050

# 2 China: 3,473,600

# 3 Russia: 1,540,360

# 4 Japan: 1,224,740

# 5 India: 1,007,980

# 6 Germany: 837,425

# 7 United Kingdom: 558,225

# 8 Canada: 521,404

# 9 Italy: 446,596

# 10 Mexico: 385,075

Canada shouldn't even be in the top 10 considering our small population of 35 million... I disagree when you think we need to pollute that much to "keep ourselves alive".

More haunting numbers:

Carbon dioxide emissions per capita > percent total (most recent) by country

Rank Countries Amount

# 4 Czech Republic: 11.8

# 5 Russia: 11.2

# 6 Netherlands: 11.1

# 7 Korea, South: 10.1

# 8 Belgium: 10

= 9 Japan: 9.7

= 9 Germany: 9.7

# 11 Poland: 8

# 12 Spain: 7.7

# 13 Italy: 7.4

# 14 South Africa: 7.3

# 15 France: 5.8

# 16 China: 4.6

# 17 Mexico: 4.1

# 18 Turkey: 3.6

# 19 Brazil: 1.8

# 20 Iran: 1.6
