DK was almost a near perfect movie, only one minor upset. Its with that section of the movie that kinda dragged it on ...

Indeed this movie has to be to par or even surpass DK and the stakes are pretty high IMO. We'll see what happens next summer.

his younger brother, Johnathon Nolan wrote the original short story for memento, co written the prestige, the dark knight and the dark knight rises.

Oh nice, had no idea. That actually gives me a little more faith that this movie will deliver.

All of those listed above are his best movies imo.

Oh man, I forgot which scene it was ... I'll have to rewatch it, it's a tiny little section that didn't really needed to be there.

Dark Knight had a few holes in the plot for sure, around the 3/4 mark it kinda takes on too much...

Heath Ledger probably pulls off my favourite acting performance of all time, it's genius. The fact that the very dark nature of the Joker character ultimately resulted in his own demise is testament to his dedication in nailing the role. What an unbelievably brilliant character...

I think the bar is set too high, and for that reason I have a feeling DKR will be a disappointment...

He was prescribed those meds legally for conditions he suffered from long before he took that part. Last I heard, he took the wrong combination and dose due to a cluttered mind, not relating to issues from the role. I could have heard wrong of course. I don't know that any definitive conclusion was ever presented.

I would peg you as a guy smart enough to know that high expectations usually lead to disappointment. I absolutely loved the last two films, but am keeping my anticipation for the next one at bay so as to give it a fair shot, and at the same time, increase my chances of liking it.

This is exactly how I am looking at it. Guarded enthusiasm.
