Among the elctronic music fans I know, modifying imports is a common hobby they all share, including me. I'm sure they're have been threads like this before, but who of you have imports, and what have you done to them.

Me 1990 Toyota Celica
Planning: Weapon R Cold Air Intake
HNK Cat Back Exhaust System
4-2-1 Chrome Polished Headers
Yokohama Wheels
Suma-Tua Tires
Custom Lowering and Various Cosmetic Mods

And my favorite mod, a $1000 dollar body kit from Erubuni corp on it's way from italli right now.

12, impressive, but Slow compaired to a properly fully moded skyline with a good Nos system, which can break 10.5 easy. Imports are sometimes all show, but american cars are usually no show and no go.

P.S. Im white, not asian.
P.P.S. Mustangs are the number 1 girl car, followed by VW Bugs, then Jettas. For those who are curious for guys it's Dodge Viper, Hummer, Dodge Ram. (Taken from road and driver)

I'm sorry but I disagree. I know plenty of imports that would stomp the sh!t out of your little Musang GT. If you have ever read Super Street or Sport Compact Car or Import tuner you would probably have read about Lisa Kubo. I know her personally. She owns a Honda Civic Hatch back that runs 9.82 in the quarter mile. My 96 Prelude would beat you in the quarter mile, not by much but I would still beat you. I think that you need to stop knocking imports. Yeah there are a lot of little a$$ b!tches that are all show and no go that still try to race peeps and that is what gives them a bad rep. But there are those of us that are all go or both. At least I am. Trust me, you'll be thinking differently when you come across that import that whoops your a$$. BTW, it isn't just about what you have under the hood, it's all about if you know how to drive the car.

Sorry guys I had to vent!!!:eyespop:

please dont start argueing with me.... my car is only worth 8 thousand...and its running 11s-12s and it has a shiny yellow paint job...SO WHATS THA problem.. if i spent the money those kids spent on those cars shown in the magazines..id be way ahead of dem boiz.......plus u wanna talk fast..turn a mustang magazine..where they emphasize speed..ull see alot of 8 sec cars....as compared to the 180 pg thick magazine of superstreet where they talk more of bodykits and wings and tachs..and show few fast cars..SO SHUT IT

BTW ur prelude is a fat pig....and u wont ever beat me..even if u threw greddy's almighty turbo..there are zero to none running 11s....most people use that 200 hp engine and throw it in a crx or hatchback...UR car is practicly useless for racing..and pit that against my 98 gt..LOL..comn...at least bring a lsvtec 90-93 integ..with a 2.0 crv block..and slap a turbo on it...u might keep up with me...Ive been through the import process...ive had a 94 mr2 turbo....98 integra gsr.....U WILL ALL grow out of it..and get a bigger and badder car...like a mustang or camaro ss...or a corvette
