It is good money, there is no doubt about that, but coupled with moving to Florida (which I have ripped on for years about how it is) and the fact that there was a legitimate conflict of interest issue involved it was not worth the trouble.
If enydo doesn't understand that then whatever, apparently he has never been in a position where he has to protect the work he has done (over a years worth at the time of the offer), or for that matter actually has created something of his own. |

I am sorry, but the two parts of the country are about as far away from each other in every aspect as they can get. I enjoy mountains, cold winters, cool summers, inland waterways and the big ocean. I enjoy liberal, progressive, and educated populations. Florida has none of those things.
Ask Jake, I am sure if he had the ability to have his GF back in the PNW and have the same income he'd do it in a second, and Georgia, at least Atlanta, isn't even as bad as Florida.
Also, why should I move if I can stay here? Its not like I am destitute. :rolleyes: |

| wtf are you trying to tell me about cold winters, liberal views and educated people, i'm ing canadian. Florida is ing fun in the sun and an amazing party city. If you think Atlanta is better than Miami ur insane. Avoid the blacks and the rednecks as much as possible and its an amazing place. Make some spic friends and have an amazing experience. Wait no, live in parents basement. Ya sounds better. |

Orlando isn't bad, it's probably my favorite city in Florida (aside from vacation towns). It's still oppressively hot in the summer, though, and it's not on the ocean.
I think Atlanta is better than Florida, but that's because it's my hometown and I love the autumn there. You can definitely party to your heart's content in Miami, but I don't think Nou is much of a clubber. |
